"I want to work under Enzo Maresca. Please don't sell me. " Chelsea star sends transfer message to board.

The Chelsea Winger has revealed intentions to work under Enzo Maresca and has refuted reports linking him away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling does not want a move away from Stamford Bridge. There had been earlier reports according to Football Insider that Chelsea are preparing to consider offers for the 29-year-old should they be able to secure the services of Crystal Palace's Olise.

There is an understanding that another arrival in attacking areas at Stamford Bridge would push Sterling further down the pecking order in West London, meaning that a departure could be on the cards.

It is believed that the Blues have entered discussions with Palace over a summer swoop for Olise, who has impressed massively this season under the tutelage of Oliver Glasner at Selhurst Park.

It has even been claimed that the France Under-21 international and Chelsea have agreed to personal terms, although a complex release clause is holding up the deal.

During his near two-year stint at Stamford Bridge, 29-year-old Raheem Sterling has made 81 appearances for the club, scoring on 19 occasions - a substandard return given his experience in England's top flight.

It’s hardly a surprise that Sterling could leave Stamford Bridge this summer, especially considering the 29-year-old’s hefty weekly earnings with the Blues.

According to Capology, the former Manchester City forward earns £325k-per-week - with the winger the highest-paid player in the Chelsea squad, with his wages contributing to a whopping 11% of the club's total wage bill. The figure of £325k means Sterling is taking home £16.9m in wages every season, with the former City man on course to earn another £68m should he stay for the remaining four years on his contract.

His bonkers weekly salary sees him earn more than star players Moises Caicedo and Cole Palmer combined, with the duo earning £150k-per-week and £75k-per-week respectively.

That's quite incredible, notably in Palmer's case given his extraordinary debut campaign at the Bridge where he scored 25 times and supplied 15 assists.

With Sterling's deal set to expire in four years, the package as a whole could amount to £130m - an obscene amount of money given his lack of impact at Chelsea up to now.

Raheem Sterling does not want to leave Chelsea

It has been revealed that Raheem Sterling rejected an eye-watering offer from Saudi Arabia last summer to stay at Chelsea. The winger has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon and is willing to work under Enzo Maresca.  It's said that the winger could have become one of the Saudi Pro League's three biggest earners behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who rakes in £214million per year at Al-Nassr according to Forbes

With Chelsea hot on the heels for Olise, it rang to be seen whether they would still require the services of Raheem Sterling and keep him as he desires.
