 Chelsea Legend John Terry has called for defender Renato Veiga to be given more minutes under Enzo Maresca. 

The Portuguese starlet was particularly impressive following Saturday's win against Bournemouth.

Renato Veiga vs Bournemouth 

It was just his first Premier League start for the Blues and Legend John Terry has praised the defender while calling for Enzo Maresca to give him more starts. 

"Veiga is an incredibly talented player. He has an amazing attitude. He does everything correctly and performs so well every day. I believe he has a strong chance.

“I am anticipating great things from [Renato Veiga] and, hopefully, more Premier League action as the season progresses.” Terry said as quoted by Chelsea247

Renato Veiga was very involved in Chelsea’s pressing structure against Bournemouth, having actions high in the pitch and trying to force turnovers.

Chelsea face West Ham United this Saturday and of course, one would be looking forward to another masterclass performance following Bournemouth win. It also remains to be seen whether Renato Veiga will be handed minutes.
