"Should be a regular starter." Chelsea fans call out Enzo Maresca for not starting one special player in Newcastle United clash.

Chelsea fans are furious over Enzo Maresca's decision to not even include Pedro Neto in his starting XI against Newcastle United on Wednesday. 

Neto was such a threat against Newcastle in the first clash on Sunday with his pace, using it to get on the end of a terrific pass from Palmer before setting up Jackson for Chelsea’s opener.

He was the highest-rated Chelsea player on Sofascore on the day with a match rating of 7.9.


According to the same website, Neto also made three key passes, the most in his team. It was a similar story last Sunday as well, with Neto creating three opportunities at Anfield.


However, Enzo Maresca left the Portuguese out of his lineup for the second leg against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, a decision that has left many fans furious. 

Reports suggest otherwise that it was a tactical decision by the head coach in reserve for weekends' premier league match against Manchester united.


Apart from Pedro Neto, Moisés Caicedo,Malo Gusto, Reece James Jadon Sancho and Robert Sanchez didn't make on bench against Newcastle United.


Chelsea face Manchester United on Sunday,  a breathtaking tie that would determine whether or not they have learned from this defeat.
