"If they start, Chelsea will win." Mikel Obi names the two Chelsea stars Enzo Maresca must start in London derby.

 Chelsea Legend John Obi Mikel has given his thoughts on the London Derby between Chelsea and Arsenal on Sunday. 

Arsenal have dipped this season and haven't been at their usual best, losing 1-0 to Inter Milan's highly rotated side in the UEFA Champions League group stage midweek. 

The two sides will clash in their first derby of the season on Sunday evening with a kickoff at Stamford Bridge. Both sides are level on points, with the blue side of London having a better goal difference. 

Mikel Obi gives his Chelsea- Arsenal prediction:


Mikel, who has taken up a career in the media over the past year, shared his predictions on his famous Obi One Podcast ahead of the final round of games before another international break.

"My beloved club, Chelsea, will do what we always do to Arsenal, which is beat Arsenal,” he said.

John Obi Mikel also selected a combined XI ahead of Chelsea’s match against Arsenal this weekend, which included an interesting decision between Kai Havertz or Nicolas Jackson for the striker position.

The Chelsea Legend is of the belief that a combined partnership of Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson is all Chelsea need going into the clash. 

During a segment on his own YouTube channel, John Obi Mikel selected his combined line-up made of the best Chelsea and Arsenal players right now.

When asked to pick between Jackson or Havertz for the combined XI, Mikel said: “I think on current form. If you’re playing Cole Palmer, I think the partnership that Nicolas Jackson has with Cole Palmer. I think Nicolas Jackson gets my vote as well.”
