Chelsea  inched into the   Europa Conference League   group phase despite a stuttering 2-1 defeat at   Servette   in Geneva. The Blues surrendered an early lead on the night that came through Christopher Nkunku’s penalty. Servette turned the tide through Jeremy Guillemenot’s neat strike and Enzo Crivelli’s smart header. The Swiss outfit pushed and probed for a goal that would have taken the tie into extra time, but Chelsea held out to prevail 3-2 on aggregate.   Per Daily Post, Chelsea are willing to open the door for banished defender Trevoh Chalobah to return to the squad.  Recall Trevoh Chalobah had been named in Enzo Maresca's list of players not part of his plans alongside the likes of Conor Gallagher,  Raheem Sterling,  Petrovic,  and Armando Broja.  With just a few days left before the summer transfer window closes, the Blues are busy trying to wrap things up in the market.   Joao Felix looks set for a return to Stamford Bridge after Chelsea agreed a permanent deal with Atletico Madrid to sign the Portugal international forward; the 24-year-old spent six months on loan at Chelsea during the 2022/23 season.  Chelsea have agreed a permanent deal with Atletico Madrid to sign Joao Felix, which means Conor Gallagher's transfer to the Spanish club is back on. Felix, 24, is expected to sign a six-year contract with Chelsea that includes the option of a further year. The funds Atletico receive for Felix will allow them to complete a deal for Gallagher.  Chelsea have asked the player to return to the club.  Chelsea have asked Conor Gallagher to return to England as his proposed move to Atletico Madrid risks collapsing at the last minute, according to reports. The England international's move to the LaLiga club has been in limbo with him having been in Madrid for five days after travelling there to undergo a medical.  A £33.7million move has been agreed between the two clubs, with Gallagher travelling to the Spanish capital after being given permission by Chelsea to do so. His medical has been completed but Atletico need to offload one of their own players to complete the deal for Gallagher to become a new player in Spain.  Despite being advised he will only be a squad player in new manager Enzo Maresca's side, the Blues have requested Gallagher travels back to England and a flight is set to be booked, as reported by  Fabrizio Romano .
